Accelerate your Emissions Reduction.

We need to reduce our emissions by 80% by 2030.

We help our customers reduce emissions at least cost, by focussing on projects that have an impact.

How to reach zero emissions?

Reaching your emissions reduction target should be done with real projects and at least cost. You'll often hear about Net Zero Emissions, where you simply buy 'Offsets' to reduce your emissions. This will cost you money and may not have any real impact on emissions.

At Beam we focus on real projects that have an impact: Optime energy use, electrify fossil fuel equipment, generate electricity on site and purchase the remainder from renewables connected to the grid. This can get you most of the way with phenomenal returns on investment.

Optimise Energy Use

Optimising your energy use involves doing more with less and is typically the cheapest way to reduce your emissions (and costs).

Electrify Everything

Electrifying your equipment and processes will improve their performance and allow you to supply them with renewable electricity.

Generate energy on site

Generating electricity on site with solar and batteries lowers your energy costs, increases capacity and can minimise disruption.

Purchase renewable energy

Purchasing renewable energy through a PPA or supply agreement covers the remainder of your on site emissions.

Our Approach to Zero Emissions

We use our decades of experience helping Australian businesses reduce emissions, helping our customers from business as usual to zero emissions.

2. Energy Audit (Optimise + Electrify)

We will assess energy efficiency projects that are likely to have will have a material impact on emissions. Our approach follows AS/NZS 3598.2:2014. We aim to identify and help implement projects that reduce costs and improve productivity

3. Beam Solar & Battery Assessment (Generate)

We will assess on-site solar PV, including rooftop, ground-mount and car park solar, as well as power factor correction, EV charging and battery energy storage systems. We will use the Beam Solar platform for this assessment and work with you to determine the optimal system
for each site.

Renewable Energy

4. Renewable Energy Assessment (Purchase)

We will you understand the various options and strategies available for off-site renewable energy purchases to achieve emissions reductions. We will outline the benefits and risks of each strategy, including Synthetic and Sleeved PPA’s as well as Greenpower and Renewable Energy Certificate purchases.

5. Emissions Reduction Strategy

Following completion of the baseline and assessment of emissions reduction options, we will develop an emissions reduction strategy, presenting the options available, their costs and benefits and immediate actions.

Report-1

6. Report and Workshop

We will produce a report with recommended actions to achieve the proposed renewable energy and emission reduction targets. We facilitate a workshop to prioritise projects and proceed with next actions.
